Our release brings compatibility with all eInstruction products and MAC We are currently working to have ExamView 7. Philip Haney You had mentioned there was a universal running version of 7. It is very frustrating to be forced to stay behind the curve and off of the cutting edge of technology because of outdated educational software. Much of the software that educators have to use is so archaic. I am just hoping that this will push educational software companies to get with the program. The market is ripe for ExamView competitors! Thanks for the heads-up! We were already leery of deploying Lion on a broad scale anyway, and this just pretty much confirms it. If you know of one please let me know and I will keep you all updated.

I am very motivated to find a better, more modern, more user friendly, test generator out there. I would also think that it would be easy for einstruction to fix this. I get my versions with instructor textbooks and the latest they ship is 6. I do not have faith that this company will have a solution in a timely manner, so I will have to do a clean install.

So it is either clean install or no ExamView on my computer at this time. However, they have NO idea when it will come out. I did contact einstruction and their response is above in my blog.įrom their email response, none of the current versions will work, Version 7. I just want to ask WHY? So, how do you find out which applications on your computer are using PowerPC? I have the latest version of Examview on my computer. It is the opposite of being productive this summer. Make a copy of those two folders you can use a USB drive or upload them to a site like dropbox if you use that. I only used the Examview Banks and Examview tests. And, even though the link was supposed to expire in 10 days, it has not.

I could just no longer stand it! And guess what? It works! The link I used expired in October I have also installed the update and am happy to have it working again. But, I was finally able to steal a bit of time tonight to install the program and see if it worked. Since them I have been too busy hustling around to soccer games and having fun at the beach. If you do NOT have a Time Machine back-up, you will have to back up all your data I recommend an external hard drive, erase your hard drive, re-install Snow Leopard and all of your applications and settings and stuff and then you are good to go. So, you are in one of two situations: If you have a Time Machine back up from your Snow Leopard days, you are set! You can go back to Snow Leopard, no hard feelings.
